IN MEMORIAM
Mr. Henry Haynes passed away at his home in North Cohocton on January 28,
1933, aged 88 years. He had been failing for some time but was confined to his
bed only one day.

He was born in Prattsburgh July 25, 1844. He was united in marriage to Helen
L. Bush July 4, 1870 and they lived in Italy Hollow until their removal to
North Cohocton in 1881. Having lived in North Cohocton over fifty years he had
many warm friends who will miss his genial smile, and little acts of
neighborly kindness and service.

He leaves two children, Aubrey Haynes of Springwater, N. Y. and a daughter,
Mrs. Cora Ross who with her husband George Ross lived with and ministered to
their parents in their declining years. He also leaves two grandchildren, son
and daughter of Aubrey Haynes.

The room in which he rested until he was taken to the church was filled with
beautiful flowers sent by his many friends and relatives. The funeral services
were conducted by Rev. John Rosengrant in the Methodist Episcopal church and
his body was laid to rest beside the wife of his youth in Clearview cemetery.

Clipping from an unnamed newspaper.
