She was married to Peter H. Zimmerman on September 25th, 1883. Mr. Zimmerman,
who for a long term of years was postmaster here, also holding many positions
in the town and village, as well as being a prominent resident of the
community, died on February 20th, 1924. Mrs. Zimmerman had gradually failed in

She is survived by nine sons and daughters, Victor B., Magdalene M., Beatrice
H., Wilhelmina H., Marion E. and Bernetta J. of Wayland, Emanuel M. of
Buffalo, Harold J. of Scranton, Pa., and Peter H. of Corning. She also leaves
two brothers, F. J. Conrad of Dansville and Philip N. Conrad of this village;
three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Hopper of Corning, Mrs. C. C. Smith of Dansville
and Mrs. W. P. Stone of Stone's Falls.

Mrs. Zimmerman had long been a member of St. Joseph's church and affiliated in
the activities of that church and auxiliary societies, where her funeral took
place this morning at 9:00 o'clock, with solemn high mass, Rev. Father Florack
officiating, assisted by Rev. Father Frank of Naples as deacon and Rev. Father
Foery of Rochester as sub-deacon. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery beside
her husband.
