And as to my worldly estate and all the property, real, personal, or mixed of which I shall dieseitzed and possessed, or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, I devise, bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following to wit: My will is that all my Just debts and funeral expenses shall by my Executors hereinafter named, be paid out of my estate, as soon after my decease as shall by them be found convenient. I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Rebecca Donham all my household furntiture together with all my personal, real and mixed property except my money and interest bearing papers, to have and to hold the same to her for and during her natural life together with the interest of two thousand dollars, said interest to be paid semiannually if desired. I give and bequeath to my daughter, Amy Dixon one eighth of my estate real, personal and mixed to be paid as follows to wit: one eighth of all my money and interest bearing papers, excepting two thousand dollars before herein named, as soon as can conveniently be done by my Executors, herein after named after my decease and the balance after the death of my said wife Rebecca Donham to have and to hold the same together with all the profits and income thereof to have the Said Amy Dixon, her heirs, Executors, Administrartors and assigns to her and their use and benefit forever. I give and bequeath to each of my remaining Sons and Daughters, to wit: Lewis N. Donham, Susannah Donham, Peter E. Donham, Catharine Donham, David G. Donham, Nancy Reitz and Barnet E. Donham one eighth of my entire estate Personal, real and mixed the same to be paid to each of them severally, by my Executors, hereinafter named at the time and in the manner described in my bequest to my daughter Amy Dixon; Is severally have and to hold the same together with all the profits and income thereof to them the said Lewis N. Donham, Susanna Donham, Peter E. Donham, Catherine Donham, David G. Donham, Nancy Reitz, and Barnet E. Donham, their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, to them and their use and benefit forever. Futhermore I will that all claims, notes, judgements, &c held by me against any of my above named Sons and daughters or their husbands or wives shall be together with the legal interest due upon the same shall be recovered and receipted for as so much money on their several shares according to my bequests, And lastly I do nominate and appoint my sons, Peter E. Donham and David G. Donham to be the Executors of this my last will and testament at a compensation of not exceeding one and one half persent of my estate, payable at the times of the transaction of the Provisions of this will. In testimony whereof, I the said John Donham have to this my last will and testament contained on one sheet of paper only, subscribed by my name and affixed my seal this 10th day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eighty three. John Donham Signed Sealed published and declared by the said John Donham as and for his last will and testament in the presents of us who at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witness Thereto. Witnesses: W.C. Ruttincutter E.S. Evans State Of pennsylvania Greene County Before me, W.W. Patterson, Register for the Probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration in and for said County, came W.C. Rittincutter & E.S. Evans the two subscribing witnesses to the above and foregoing Will, who being sworn according to law say that they were present and saw and heard John Donham the testator sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last Will and testament, and at the time of so doing he was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief, and that they signed the same as witnesses at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other. Donham who being duly sworn according to law says that the above named John Donham died on the 12th day of November A.D. 1884 at about 10 oclock A.M. of said day. And now Dec***Letters of Testimentory upon said estate granted to Peter E. Donham and David G. Donham Executors as named in the will.
