I SARAH WERTZ of Harison Township in the County of bedford and State of
Pennsylvania being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish
this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former
wills by me at any time heretofore made.  And first I direct that my body be
decently intered in the cemtery near Manns Choiceknown at Mt Olive cemetery
according to the rites of the Presbiterian church and that my funeral be
conducted in a manner correspondingwith my estate and situation in life as to
such estate as it hath pleased God to entrust me with I dispose of the same as
follow Viz:  In the second place I direct that my executor herein named pay my
funeral expences out of my estate tomb stones and all other necessary expenses
And further direct that after my death I give and bequeathe all the ballance
of my property real and personal including my house and lot and the other lot
of four acres all situated and lying in Manns Choice and a Judgment I have
entered on the Prothonators docket against my brother V. V. WERTZ to my said
brother V. V. WERTZ's use as long as he lives and after his death I give and
bequeath the above described house and lot for the use of my niece ANN MARIA
MILLER, widow of HIRAM MILLER, decd. as long as she lives and after her death.
The Said house and lot which I have bequeathed to the use of my niece ANN
MARIA MILLER while she lives, And Lastly I give and bequeath the same niece
ANNIE WERTZ and the said four lots the Said Judment and all my personal
property except one bed and beding I give to my said niece ANN MARIA MILLER.
And lastly I appoint my friend ASA(?) S. STUCKEY, Esq. to be the executor of
my last will and testament.  In witness I have hereunto set my and seal this
21st day of March A.D. 1884.

2.) Letters of Administration/Estate Records, January 15, 1890:

To JAMES J: MICKEL, Esq.
Register of Wills of Bedford County

    Sir:  
            I hereby renounce my right to act as Administrator of my deceased
sister SARAH WERTZ, deceased, and request you to appoint W. SCOTT SHOCKEY,
Administrator Cum testamento annexo of said SARAH WERTZ, deceased,

3.) Another document, January, 1890

BEDFORD COUNTY ss:
     Personally appeared before me, JAMES F. MICKEL, Register for the probate
of wills, in and for said county, JOHN W. OYLER one of the two subscribing
witnesses in the last will and testament of SARAH WERTZ, late of Harrison
Township, deceased, who being duly qualified according to law, depose and says
that he was personally present and saw and heard the above named testatrix
sign and seal, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as
and for her last will and testament, that he signed his names as witness at
the request of said testatrix and in his presence and in the presence of the
other subscribing witness, M.C. MILLER, who is now dead, and at the time of so
doing said testatrix was of sound mind, memory, and understanding, to the best
of deponents' knowledge and belief.  
   Sworn and subscribed before me,
this 25th day of January, A.D. 1890                             JOHN W. OYLER

4.) Another document, January 15, 1890:

COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, BEDFORD COUNTY

     Personally appeared before me JAMES F. MICKLE, register for the Probate
of Wills and granting Letters of Administration, in and for said County V. V.
WERTZ who being duly sworn according to law doth depose and say that SARAH
WERTZ, late of Harrison Twp, said County deceased, died at V. V. WERTZ's in
said Township on or about Thursday the 21st day of November, A.D. 1889 at 4
o'clock A.M. of said day, to the best of his knowledge and belief.
     SWORN AND SUBSCRIBED BEFORE ME

late of Harrison Township, deceased, (who died unmarried and without issue,)
to act as Administrator, and request that you appoint ALBERT H. WHETSTONE,
Administrator Cum testamento annexo of said SARAH WERTZ, deceased, (my former
mominee W. SCOTT SHOCKEY having refused to act).

6.) Another document, March 3, 1894:

Bedford County ss:
             Personally appeared before me WM. S. LYSINGER, Register for the
probate of wills, in and for said county, JOHN W. LINGENFELTER and JAMES F.
MICKEL, who being duly qualified according to law, depose, and say that they
were well acquainted with M. C. MILLER, late deceased, that they are
acquainted with his hand writing, having frequently seen him write his name,
and the name of M. C. MILLER signed to the instrument of writing purporting to
be the last will and testament of SARAH WERTZ, as a witness thereto, is in the
proper hand writing and is the genuine signature of said M. C. MILLER to the
best of their knowledge and belief.
