Bedford County Will Book 3, page 27 

I Steven Redinger of Providence township, Bedford County, in bad health and 
considering the uncertainty of life and the sertaty [sic] of death, make this my 
last will and testament as follows. First and foremost I commit my sole [sic] 
into the hands of God and my body to the earth to be buried in a deasand [sic] 
and Christian manner.

Item - First I give and bequeath to my beloved son John Redinger my plantation 
containing one hundred acres more or less in Providence township, Bedford County 
adjoing the lands of Henery Stockman, Joseph Robison and William Robison. 
Furthermore the son John Redinger is to keep my beloved wife Modliney Redinger 
during her natural life and provide for all nececsarys [sic] of life that she 
needs.

Item - Second all my moveable property sall be sold at ?????? by my son John 
Redinger, him I authorize as executor and administator and it is to be divided 
in the following manner. First and foremost he is to pay all my just debts that 
I owe in this life. Second he is to divide the remainder that is left amongst my 
seven children, my three sons and four daughters equally one as much as the 
other.

Item - Third the said John Redinger is to give to each of my four daughters one 
milk cow a peace [sic]. Signed and declared to be my last will and teatmaent by 
this (I) declare all other wills and writings to be of no effect.
