Cumberland Valley, Bedford County, Pa. I Johnathan Oster feeling that my time in this
world may be short and I am now  reasonably strong in body and sound in mind God be
praised for it, do hereby,  dispose of my personal property as follows.

 1st To my daughter Mrs Sarah Ann Clarl I give Twelve Hundred Dollars. 
 2nd To my son Toliver Oaster I give One Thousand Dollars. 
 3rd To my son Valentine Oster I give Two Hundred Dollars. In addition to what he has
already received. 
 4th To my son Sperry W. Oster I give One Hundred Dollars. This money to be credited on
a note of $400.00  Which I hold against him dated April 1, 1885 without interest. 
 5th To my sons George and Calvin Oster I give all my real estate where they now reside
and they are to pay out the above heirs as above mentioned. It is my will that my sons
George& Calvin Oster have four years time from the date of my death to pay
the above heirs Payable as follows; Six Hundred Dollars per year without interest.
  To my daughter Mrs. Sarah A. Clark Three hundred Dollars per year.
  To my son Toliver Five Hundred Dollars per year.
  To my son Valentine Oster Fifty Dollars per year.
  It is also my will that all my personal goods and all my personal property be equally divided.
  It is also my will that my sons George & Calvin Oster pay all my funeral expenses and Dr. Bills.
  I do hereby appoint and name my son Toliver Oster as administrator to settle up my estate.
  This is my last will and Testament revoking all former wills made by me dated March
the 27th 1899.

Bedford County ss:
 Personally appeared before me, ED. R. Horne, Register for the probate of wills, &c., in
and for the said county, Scott A Wertz   and _____________one of the two subscribing
witnesses to the last will and testament of Jonathan Oster late of Cumberland Valley
Township deceased, who being duly qualified according to law, depose and say that they
were personally present and saw and heard the above named  testator sign and seal,
pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and
testament, that they signed their names as witnesses at the request of said testator and
in the presence of each other, and at the time of doing so said testator was of sound
mind, memory and understanding, to the best of deponents knowledge and belief.

Probate Records, which I am not at present including. Also shows George H. Oster, his
middle initial.
    Jonathan wrote his name twice and spelled it differently both times.

               OATH OF DEATH.
 State of Pennsylvania
   Bedford County,
  Personally appeared before me Edgar R. Howe Register for the Probate of Wills and
granting Letters of Administration, in and For said county Toliver Oster who being duly
sworn  according to law, doth depose and say that Jonathan Oster late of Cumberland
Valley Township and said County, deceased, died at his home in same Township on or about
Sunday, the 20th day of January A. D. 1901 at 2 oclock pm of said day, to the best of
his knowledge and belief.
