Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named
John Oster to be his last will and testament. In the presence of us who at his request

John (Lunese?)

*Unable to read the last name of 2nd witness. Also in will text the last name of
daughter Susan I believe should be an L. The S in Susan, Sophia are identical to the
last name Soomans. The census report of 1850 shows daughter Susan Lumans children
Jonathan Luman Solomon Luman. The 1860 census gives the Luman spelling also. On the
helly name the letters are exactly that-not capitalized it definitely does not look like
the name Polly which is how its written in the 1860 census, perhaps that is the name he
meant to write but I do not know. R. E.
