In the name of God Amen I George Oster of the township of Colerain County of Bedford
State of Pennsylvania being through the Abundant Mercy and goodness of God the weak in
body yet of sound and perfect Understanding and Memory Do Constitute this my last Will
and Testament and desire it to be Received by all as Such Imprimis. I most Humbly
Bequeath my soul to God my maker beseeching his Most Gracious acceptance of it through
the all Suffecient merits and Meditation of My most Compassionate redeemer Jesus Christ
who gave himself to be an attonement for my sins and is able to save to the uttermost
all that Come unto God by him seeing he Ever liveth to make Intercepion for them and who
trust will not Reject me a returning penitent Sinner when Home to him for Mercy in this
Hope and Confidence I render up my soul with Comfort Humbly Beeceaching the most blessed
and glorious Trinity one God most holy most Merciful and Gracious to prepare me for the
time of my Dissolution and then to take Me to himself into that peace and rest and
incomparable felicity which he has prepared for them that love and fear him-Amen Blessed
be god-
 Imprimis I give my body to the earth from whence it was taken in full assurance of its
Resurrection from thence at the last day as for my burial I desire it may be decent
without pomp or State at the Discretion of my dear and loving wife and my Executers
hereafter named who I doubt not will manage it with all Requiste prudence---As to my
worldly estate I will and positively Order that all my Debits be paid Item I give to my
dear and loving wife as long as she Remaineth a Widow following the time of her
Widowhood but no longer one room in the north east end of my house with her bed and
bedding and as many kitchen utentials as may be necessary for her use, she shall have
one Cow, and yearly and from year to year shall receive from my Estate as much pork and
beef and grain of each sort as is necessary for the support of her body, and flax and
Wool for her Clothing. Or fifteen bushels of good wheat per year, & ten bushels of Rey,
& five bushels Indian corn, and one hundred Weight of pork and one hundred weight of
beef and fifteen hundred weight of hay, to be delivered yearly from my Estate by my
Executors together with twelve pounds Hachleds flax  and eight pounds Wool yearly.
 Item I give to my oldest son Jacob Five Shillings Current money to my second son John
Oster I give Five Shillings Current money, to my Daughter Mary I give Five Shillings
Current money, to my daughter Elizabeth I give five shillings D" to my Daughter
Catherina I give one cow and one bed and bedding & two sheep, to my son Nicholas I give
two Horse Creatures one of the highest priced and one of the lowest rated on the
plantation with one cow and two sheep and my best ? now in my possession or seventy
pound current money to be paid yearly ?   ?    in manner following viz that is to
Receive ten pounds yearly

without interest till the whole be paid from my Estate. To my daughter Barbarah I give
one cow and one bed and bedding and two sheep==== To my Daughter Shusanna  I give one
cow and bedding & two sheep to my youngest son George whom I make one of my Executors of
this my last will and testament, I give demise and bequeath to him and to his heirs all
and every my Messuages lands tenements and here (?stitaments) Whatsoever and Wheresoever
which I also charge with the payment of my said legacies= As for my good friend Edward
Rose of the township and County above mentioned I make my sole Executor with my son
George, and Do Constitute them Executors of this my last will and testament and trustees
for my wife and children-----In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
eighth day of May in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety one. (May

 Bedford County Pa on the eighteenth day of August in the year Of our lord one thousand
seven hundred and ninety five, personally came before me the subscriber Register For the
probate of wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the County of Bedford
in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania Edward Rose and Allen Rose two of the subscribing
Witnesses to the aforegoing Instrument of Writing who being duly sworn according to law
did declare and say that they were personally present and heard and saw the within named
George Oster sign seal publish and declare the said instruments of writing as and for his
Last Will & Testament that at the time of doing so the same he the said George Oster the
tester was of sound mind and memory according to the to the best of these Deponants
Knowledge & belief  and that they Subscribed their name as Witness to the Execution
thereof in the presence of the tester and at his request and that they did also see
Thomas Burns the other subscribing Witness sign his name as a Witness to the same.

 On 18 August 1795 Edward Rose renounce, Release and Quit Claim all his rites & Titles
to Executorship of George Osters Will.
 The writing on the side left margin is dated 22 September 1795, Following is an
abstract of what it said:
 Letters of Administration of George Oster deceasedwere granted to Jacob Nagle and
Barbara Oster given under the hand of George Woods, Register.
