WILL OF HENRY MILLER

Will written March 6, 1870
Proven March 13, 1877

The last will and testament of HENRY MILLER of the Township of Cumberland
Valley and County of Bedford and State of Pennsylvania.
Testator died on the 7th day of March AD 1877 between twelve and three oclock
 in the morning as per Oath of S. Whip. Filed.  Register

I will and bequeath JACOB MILLER, VALENTINE MILLER, ADAM MILLER, JONATHAN
 MILLER, CAMBELL MILLER each three hundred dollars.  I will and bequeath to
 WESLEY B. MILLER heir of HENRY MILLER JR. Decd. two hundred dollars.  I will
 and bequeath to my daughter ELIZABETH CESSNA three hundred dollars.  I will
 and bequeath to MARY REICHARD and INDINA? LAZURE each two hundred and fifty
 dollars.  I will and bequeath to my granddaughter MALINDA LAZURE  one bed &
 bedding and one because in case she lives and stays with me and takes care of
 me while I live

Further I constitute and appoint S. WHIP and ADAM ZEMBOWER Extors of this my
last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty sixth day of March
1870

Know all men by these presents that JACOB MILLER, VALENTINE MILLER, ANDREW MILLER, 
ELIZABETH CESSNA, late ELIZABETH MILLER, and CAMPBELL MILLER and
HENRY ROSE/RISE guardian of WESTLEY B. MILLER a minor child of HENRY MILLER decd

 legacies named in the will of Henry Miller late of Cumberland Valley Township
 deceased, do hereby acknowledge that they have had an received from Samuel
 Whip and Adam Zembower, Esq. executors of the last will and testament of the
 said Henry Miller, deceased, the sums due us as follows:

JACOB MILLER received three hundred and eighty one dollars and twenty-five cents
VALENTINE MILLER received three hundred and eighty one dollars and twenty-five cents
ADAM MILLER received three hundred and eighty one dollars and twenty-five cents
ELIZABETH CESSNA received three hundred and eighty one dollars and twenty-five cents
ELIZABETH MILLER received three hundred and eighty one dollars and twenty-five cents
and HENRY ROSE/RISE guardian of WESTLEY B. MILLER a minor child of H. Miller decd, 
received two hundred dollars the amount received by each being in full
satisfaction and payment of all sum or sums of money legacies will bequests as
are given and bequeathed to the said Jacob Miller, Valentine Miller, Adam Miller, 
Elizabeth Cessna and Campbell Miller, and Henry ROSE/RISE guardian of
Westley B. Miller, by the last will and testament aforesaid

(note from abstractor:  Elizabeth Miller rec'd a share as did Elizabeth
Cessna- but Campbell Miller signed? she did not.  At first glance I believed
Elizabeth Miller was maiden name of Elizabeth Miller, but it appears they both
received a share.  I think Elizabeth Miller was the spouse of either Henry Jr.
or Campbell?? )

Know all men by these presents that JONATHAN MILLER, one of the sons and
legacies in the last will of Henry Miller last of the township of Cumberland
Valley in the county of Bedford and State of Pennsylvania, deceased, does
hereby acknowledge that he has received of and from Samuel Whip and Adam
Zembower Esqrs. Executors of the last will and testament of the said Henry
Miller, deceased, the sum of three hundred and eighty one dollars and twenty-
five cents in full satisfaction and payment
