WILL OF MICHAEL LEHMAN 

In the name of God. Amen. I  Michael Lehman of the Township of Belfast, in the 
County of Bedford and the State of Pennsylvania, fairly being  sick of body, 
but sound mind  memory and understanding, for which I bless God for the same, 
but calling to mind the mortality of the body and the uncertain time of death I 
do hereby make and ordain this instrument in  writing to be my last will and 
testament, revoking all other heretofore by me made. First of all, I recommend 
my spirit into the hands of God, who gave it, and my body to the earth to be 
buried in a decent Christian like manner at the discretion of my executor, 
herein after named. My will is that all my just debts be dully paid, as soon as 
may be after my decease, and as for my real and personal estate which I now 
possess, I give and dispose of the same in the following manner to wit. I give 
and bequeath unto my dear and beloved wife, Mary Ann Lehman, all my real and 
personal estate of every kind as the now are and as I now possess them during 
her natural life and that she may have hold and occupy them as I myself might 
or could do  except as is herein after excepted. That is my will is I give unto 
my son Michael Lehman fifty cents, one year after my deceased. Unto  my 
daughter, Mary Ann, wife of Joseph Jenkins, fifty cents, one year after my 
decease. Catherine Leaham, wife of Adam Leaham, fifty cents, to be paid one 
year after my deceased. Also I give and bequeath unto my son, Lawrence Lehman, 
fifty cents, to be paid one year after my death. I give unto my daughter, 
Elizabeth, fifty cents one year after my decease. I give unto my daughter 
Susannah, fifty cents one year after my decease. I give and bequeath unto my 
daughter Margaret, fifty cents, when she comes of age. I give unto my daughter 
Leah fifty cents, when of age. I give unto my daughter Sarah, fifty cents, when 
of age. My will and desire is that after the decease of my wife all the real 
and personal property that shall remain on hand shall be sold at public sale 
and the money arising from such sale shall be equally divided among all the 
aforesaid children, And lastly I nominate, constitute and appoint my trusty 
friend, Jacob Stahl ,of the within said township, and county to be the executor 
of this my last will and testament, in the presence of these witness, who saw 
me sign the same. Given under my hand and seal the twenty-fifth day of November 
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty-fore.

Be it remembered that on the 27 day of January A. D. 1835, personally appeared 
before the subscriber, Register for the probate of Will and granting Letters of 
Administration in and for  said county, Francis Welch Esq. and Evan Evans, the 
subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing and being duly 
sworn, depose and say that they were personally present and heard and saw Michael 
Lehman the testator, sign seal publish pronounce and declare the foregoing 
instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament. That at the time 
thereof the testator was of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding 
according to the best of deponents knowledge and belief and that they subscribed 
their names thereto as witnesses in the presence of the testator and at his 
request.
