I, Sarah J. Eichelberger of Hopewell Borough, Bedford County 
and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and 
understanding, do hereby make, publish and declare this to 
be my last will and testament hereby, revoking and making 
void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

1st. I order and direct that all my just debts be paid as 
soon as convenient after my death.

2nd. I hereby give and bequeath to my granddaughter Edith 
Frances Foster the sum of one dollar.

3rd. I give, bequeath and devise to my granddaughter, Olin 
Edna Eichelberger, daughter of my son David A. Eichelberger, 
a house and lot in Hopewell Township, Bedford County, Pa., 
adjoining lands of John Himes and John Lowry, and being the 
same bought from Albert Walters.

4. I give and bequeath to my son David A. Eichelberger the 
sum of twenty five dollars.

5. I give and bequeath to my grandson Benjamin Harrison 
Eichelberger son of my son James Harrison Eichelberger the 
sum of five hundred dollars, and in the event Benjamin 
should die before arriving at the age of twenty-one years, 
then the same shall go to his brother David Samuel 
Eichelberger, and in the event both should die, then in that 
event the same shall go to my son, and their father James 
Harrison Eichelberger.

6th. I give and bequeath to my son in law Harry J. Evans, in 
trust for his son, John Worden Evans a Judgment I hold 
against Mary A. Lowe and Jabez Lowe.

7th. I give and bequeath all the residue of my property 
share and share alike to and among Joseph K. Eichelberger, 
Olin Edna Eichelberger, James Harrison Eichelberger, George 
Martin Eichelberger, Maggie E. Peels, Annie J. Stewart, Emma 
Catharine Horton and Susan E. Evans.

It is my will and I hereby direct that in the event either 
of my daughters should die before their husbands, that the 
amounts of money, coming from my estate under this will 
shall go to the children of each respective daughter and not 
to their husbands.

8. It is my will and I hereby order and direct that the 
bequest to my grandson, Benjamin Harrison Eichelberger who 
is now living with me depends upon his living with me during 
my life, or until he is twenty-one years of age, but if the 
said Benjamin should die at my home then bequest No. 5 fer 
is in full force, the same as if Bennie (as he was called by 
us all) has stayes with me during life or until he gains his 
majority.

9th. I hereby empower my Executors hereinafter named to make 
sale of my real estate of which I may die seized, with the 
same power and authority to make, execute and deliver deeds 
the same as I could if living.

10th. I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my two 
daughters Annie J. Stewart and Susan E. Evans as sole 
Executors of this my last will and testament, they to settle 
my Estate without giving bond, as I have full confidence in 
their integrity.

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal 
this first day of September A.D. 1902

Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of us, who at 
the request of the testatrix submits our names hreto as 
witnesses in her presence and in the presence of each other.
