I William EGOLF, of the Borough of Schellsburg, in the County of Bedford, and 
state of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make 
and publish this my last will and testament, hereby making and making void all 
former wills by me at any time heretofore made.  

I direct tombstones to be erected at my grave the same as my first wife's.  My 
second wife to have the same as mine if she remains my widow, unless she directs 
otherwise.  

I direct that my said debts and funeral expenses be paid by my Executers herein 
after named.

I direct that my Executors place the sum of one hundred dollars in the hands of 
the Trustees of the Schellsburg Cemetery and their successors in office, the 
interest of which is to be applied to the keeping in good and sightly repair and 
condition my own and father's burial lots in said Cemetery.

I give and bequeath to my son Harry J. EGOLF, two hundred dollars, and no more, 
this sum to be in full of his share in my entire estate.

I give and bequeath to my said wife Eliza J. EGOLF, one half of all my household 
goods, I also give to her the interest on fifteen hundred dollars Life insurance 
in the Odd Fellows Endowment Association (my entire insurance there being two 
thousand dollars.), the remaining five hundred dollars to be paid to her in cash 
and to be hers absolutely.

I give devise and bequeath to her my said wife, during her living her widowhood 
the one third of the net proceeds of the rents, issues and profits of the farm 
in Napier Township devised to me by my father, and also the one third of the net 
proceeds of the rents of the brick house...[unreadable word]

I direct that my son Abram B. EGOLF, erect on the corner lot in which the lumber 
building stands, a frame weather boarded dwelling house, with kitchen and two 
rooms on the first floor, with second story finished, as my wife may desire.  
The lot to be 66 feet by 150 feet.  This house and lot to be for the use of my 
said wife during her lifetime, or as long as she remains my widow.  After death, 
or remarriage, said house and lot to go to my son Abram B. EGOLF, his heirs and 
assigns forever.

I give devise and bequeath to my son Abraham Berton EGOLF, his heirs and assigns 
forever all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal and 
mixed including all my life insurance, except such portion of the insurance in 
the Odd Fellows Endowment Association which I have above given to my wife.

And I do hereby institute and appoint my said wife Eliza J. EGOLF and my son 
Abraham Berton EGOLF to be the Executors of this my last will and testament.

In Witness Whereof I William EGOLF, the testator have to this my will, written 
on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this twenty-six day of July A.D. one 
thousand eight hundred and ninety-four.

our names at his request as witness thereto in the presence of the said testator 
and of each other

Personally appeared before me Ed. R. HOME Register for the probate of wills in 
and for said County, Moses A. POINTS and R. C. WADERMAN, the two subscribing 
witnesses to the last will and testament of William EGOLF, late of Schellsburg 
Borough, deceased, who being duly qualified according to law, depose and say 
that they were personally present and saw and hard the above named testator, 
signed seal, announce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for 
his last will and testament, that they signed their names as witness at the 
request of said testator and in his presence and in the presence of each other, 
and at the time of so doing said testator was of sound mind, memory and 
understanding, to the best of deponents knowledge and beliefs.

Sworn and subscribed before me this [?] day of February AD 1898

Filed and fully proven March 4, 1898.  Same day Letters Testamentary issued to 
Eliza J. EGOLF and Abraham Berton EGOLF, mentioned in the will.  Decedent died 
February 15, 1898
