I Henry EGOLF of Napier Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, yeoman, being of 
sound mind, memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and 
testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me already 
theretofore made.

1.  I give, devise and bequeath unto my son William EGOLF my house and lot of 
ground in Schellsburg, which he now occupies, also the two acre lot of ground 
adjoining the Borough of Schellsburg and my half interest in the two acre lot 
adjoining John E. CALVIN, and others, also the farm that John EGOLF now 
occupies, containing one hundred acres more or less including the Lucy DARR lot, 
to have and to hold the said several messages above described and appurtenances 
to him and to his heirs and assigns forever.  William EGOLF is to pay to my 
daughter Lavina WILLIAMS three hundred dollars in manner as follows:  One 
hundred dollars one year after my death, one hundred dollars two years after my 
death and the remaining one hundred dollars three years after my death, without 
interest, the said legacy to be a charge on the lands herein devised to William.

2.  I give, devise and bequeath to my son Abraham H. EGOLF, his heirs and 
assigns forever the farm, which he now occupies, including the forty acres 
adjoining the MULLIN tract which is now farmed by John EGOLF.  In consideration 
of this devise my son Abraham is not to collect any of the note he now holds 
against me, I gave him that much in the farm.  My son Abraham H. EGOLF is to pay 
to my daughter Lavinia WILLIAMS, three hundred dollars in manner following:  one 
hundred dollars one year after my death, one hundred dollars in two years 
thereafter and the remainder one hundred dollars in three years thereafter 
without interest, the same to be a charge on the land, herein devised to him.

3.  I give, devise and bequeath to my son Benjamin EGOLF, his heirs and assigns 
forever the farm which he now occupies containing two hundred and sixty acres, 
more or less.  Susan EGOLF, wife of Benjamin, holds a garnishee note of about 
eleven hundred dollars, this note Benjamin is to pay to his said wife and I make 
the amount thereof a charge upon the land devised to him, the devise being upon 
that condition.

4.  I give, devise and bequeath unto my daughter Lavinia WILLIAMS her heirs and 
assigns forever my brick house and lot of ground in Schellsburg, adjoining lot 
lately owned by R. M. TAYLOR and others.

5.  I hold certain notes against my daughter Lavinia WILLIAMS, she is not to pay 
them to my Executors.  I give them to her, and she is not to be charged with any 
advancement  made by me to her.

6.  I give my daughter in law Susan EGOLF, wife of Abraham H. EGOLF all my 
household goods for her kindness to me, and these goods are to be exonerated 
from the payment of any debts.

7.  The residue of my personal property is to be applied to the payment of my 
just debts.

8.  I give devise and bequeath to my son Abraham H. EGOLF, as before described, 
amounting to about two hundred and forty acres.

9.  If the personal estate is not sufficient to pay my debts, I direct the 
balance of the debts to be paid in equal portions by my three sons, William 
EGOLF, Abraham H. EGOLF and Benjamin EGOLF and the same is to be a charge on the 
real estate devised to my said three sons.

And I do hereby constitute and appoint my said three sons, William EGOLF, 
Abraham H. EGOLF, and Benjamin EGOLF Executors of this my last will and 
testament.

In Witness whereof I Henry EGOLF have to this my will written on one sheet of 
paper, set my hand and seal this thirtieth day of May A. D. one thousand eight 
hundred and ninety three.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Henry EGOLF, as and 
for his last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto 
subscribed our names at his request as witnesses thereto in the presence of the 
said testator and of each other.

Personally appeared before me Wm. L. LYSINGER, Register,  for the probate of 
wills, in and for the said county, Noah R. THOMAS and Moses A. POMTO, the two 
subscribing witnesses to the last will and testament of Henry EGOLF late of 
Napier Township deceased, who being duly qualified according to law, depose and 
say that they were personally present and saw and heard the above named testator 
sign and seal, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and 
for his last will and testament that they signed their names as witnesses at the 
request of said testator and in his presence and in the presence of each other, 
and at the time of so doing said testator was of sound mind, memory and 
understanding, to the best of deponents knowledge and belief.  Sworn and 
subscribed before me, this 30th day of June A. D. 1894

Filed and proved June 30, 1894 same day Letters testamentary were issued to 
William, Benjamin and Abraham EGOLF they being named in [the] will having first 
been duly qualified.  Decedent died June 14, 1894.
