Isaac Deremer
In the name of God, Amen.. I Isaac Deremer of Providence Township
Bedford County and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being but weak in body but
perfect sound in mind and memory, thanks be to Almighty God, and calling to
mind the mortality of my body, knowing that it is appointed for men once to die,
do institute this my last Will and Testament, the premises whereof I bequeath in
the following manner. First of all I give up my Precious Soul, into hands of
Almighty God, that gave it me, and as for my body I recommend it to Earth to be
buried in a decent manner, and as to such Worldy Goods wherewith it hath pleased God, to
help me with in this life, I bequeath in the following manner. Viz. first of
all it is my will, that all my just debts, that I do owe any man, and my funeral expenses
be paid or settled, in as short a time after my demise as conveniently may be.
Item I give and bequeath to my well beloved Wife Elizabeth, one third part of my
estate real and personal. Item, I give and bequeath to my oldest Son John Deremer
two shares in my Estate, and each of the rest of my children, one share to wit
Lydia, Robert, Jacob, Isaac, Abraham, Sarah, Elisabeth and William, upon
condition That John Deremore, does stay at home and take care of his mother and the
last mentioned five children. And I, do institute my well beloved Wife and
my first son John Deremer, to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand, this twenty second day of January
