John Defibaugh     In the name of Gods Army I John Defibaugh of Cumberland
		   Valley Township in the County of Bedford and State of
Pennsylvania. Being of sound minds and memory and considering the uncertainty
of this mortal life. Do therefor make ordain publish and declare that my
will and testament. What is to say, first after all my just debts are paid
and discharged. My residue of my estate both real -o- real and personal I
give and bequeath to my much beloved wife Elizabeth Defibaugh to have and
to hold till my youngest child be come of the age of Twenty one years if
she should remain my widow so long then my estate both real and personal
to be disposed of and equally divided between my children I hereby constitute
my beloved wife Elizabeth Defibaugh and my son Henry Thomas Defibaugh
Executrix and Executor of this my last will and testament. In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 30th day of July 1859.
In presence of his who at my my
request have subscribed ourselves

Bedford County S.S.
	Personally, appeared before this Register for this Probate of wills
in said County John Blaine and Washington Hite subscribing witnesses to the
fore giving instruments of writing who being duly sworn according to law do
depose and say that they were present and saw this Testator John Difibaugh
sign his name to the same and heard him pronounce and declare said instrument
of writing to be his last will and testament that he acscied them to sign
their names as witnesses thereto and at the time of so doing he the said
Testator was of sound mind, memory and maintaining to the best of their
knowledge and beliefs

day of Sept. 1861. Before Hayes (?)			Washington Hite
			Dep. Regt.

Feled Sept 2 1861, same day duly proven and registered. And now October 14,
1872 widow Elizabeth Defibaugh being dead and Henry Thomas Defibaugh now
residing in the State of Indiana announcing his right to Letters, Letters
sworn having been issued; an application of Josiah Nealy Defibaugh Next
Son, Letter of Administrator, cum testamants ammo issued to him, he being
first duly sworn, and having given bond with sureties according to law.
