Atkinson County Citizen - October 11, 2007
 Mr. Andy Barlow, age 28, of Pearson, GA passed away Monday, October 1, 2007, 
following injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.
 A native of Atkinson County, Mr. Barlow as born November 22, 1978, son of Irby 
and Willie Mae Arnold Barlow. He worked as a Boiler Operator at Langboard, 
Inc., and had a great love for fishing and hunting.
 Survivors include his parents, Irby and Willie Mae Barlow of Pearson, GA; son, 
Issac Andrew Barlow of Pearson, GA; sister, Wendie Brooke Barlow of Pearson, 
GA; sister Wendlie Brooke Barlow of Pearson, GA; his paternal grandmother, 
Della Mae Barlow of Pearson, GA; maternal grandparents, Willie and Willene 
Arnold of Pearson, GA.
 Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Barlow were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, 
October 4, 2007, at Red Bluff Cemetery with Rev. Carlie Lastinger, Bishop Dan 
Vickers and Bishop Steve Sirmans officiating. A special poem, was read by Tina 
Mercer. Special musical selections included, "Go Rest High on that Mountain," 
and "When I Get Where I'm Going," rendered by Charles and Tammy Wood, with 
Charles Wood accompanying with the guitar, and "His Eye is on the Sparrow," 
rendered accappella by Soloist, Stan Gurley.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Mark Booth, Shane Hersey, Brad Nelson, 
Donald Holtcamp, Larry Rowe, Travis Jackson.
 Honorary pallbearers were Wendell Booth, Bill Bridges, Dorsey (Pee Wee) 
Spivey, Butch Spivey, Julian Floyd, Bobby Joe Guess.
 Serving as special "Old Timer pallbearers were Joe (High Pockets) Mercer, Bill 
Zorn, Jimmy Mullis, Buddy Corbitt, George Spivey.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of arrangements.
