Atkinson County Citizen - February 14, 2008
 Mr. Willie Anderson age 82 of Pearson, GA passed away Friday, February 8, 2008 
at his residence following an extended illness.
 A native of Atkinson County, Mr. Anderson was born January 19, 1926 son of the 
late Jake and Linnie Stone Anderson. He was a retired farmer. He was preceded 
in death by 2 sons, Willie Joe (Charles)  Anderson and Raymond Lee Anderson and 
a granddaughter, Brenda Sue Anderson, a grandson Joe Willie Anderson and great 
grandson, Jeremy Austin Anderson.
 Survivors include: wife, Seyene Spivey Anderson of Pearson, GA; 3 sons, David 
Anderson and wife Judy of Axson, GA, Terry Wayne Anderson of Pearson, GA, Keith 
Perry Anderson of Pearson, GA; 4 daughters, Patricia Ann Bennett and husband 
Russell of Pearson, GA, Bonnie Sue McGovern and husband Barney Ray of Pearson, 
GA, Dorothy Latrelle Hall and husband Ronnie of Pearson, Regina K. Peach of 
Douglas, GA; 24 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild 
and several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Funeral services for Mr. Anderson were held at 22 a.m. Monday, February 11, 
2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pearson, GA with 
Bishop Jamie James, Bishop Lamar Park and Rev. J.A. Anderson officiating. Elder 
Virgil Bennett gave the opening prayer and Elder Alfred Royals gave the closing 
prayer. Special musical selections "Nearer My God To Thee" and "God Be With You 
Til We Meet Again" were rendered by the congregation with Ellen Hardee 
accompanying at the piano. A special song "On The Wings of An Angel" was 
presented by Soloist Betty Dickerson with taped accompaniment. Ellen Hardee 
pianist provided soft music for the prelude and postlude. The interment 
followed in Royals Cemetery with the dedication of the grave given by Elder Tim 
Cecil.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Barry Peach, Travis Peach, Michael Bennett, 
Christopher McGovern, Timothy Anderson, Keith Anderson.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
