Atkinson County Citizen - January 29, 2014
 Mr. William Bill Christopher, Jr., 84, of Moultrie died Friday, January 24, 
2014, at Agape Health and Rehabilitation.
 Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2014, at First United 
Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Addington and Rev. Robert Spears officiating.
 Interment followed in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
 Casketbearers were Ben Christopher, Will Christopher, Chris Cox, Bryan Gibson, 
Daniel Spears, Nathaniel Johnson.
 Honorary casketbearers were Ben Marion, Ricky Sherling, Steve Lazarus, Robert 
Brown, Greg Coop, Mark Mobley, Seth Berl, Lane Wear, Darrell Moore.
 He was born on October 2, 1929, in Willacoochee, GA, and he was the son of the 
late William Osborne Christopher, Sr. and Bennie Estelle Henderson Christopher. 
He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired teacher, assistant principal 
and coach with the Colquitt County Board of Education. He was a member of First 
United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Harmon 
Christopher; daughter, Terri Christopher Cox and grandson, David Spears.
 Survivors include one daughter, Jenny Christopher Spears and husband Robert of 
Greenville, SC; two sons, Neal Christopher and wife Lisa of Fayetteville, GA and 
Ken Christopher and wife Leah of Moultrie; a son-in-law, Tom Cox of Escondido, 
CA; one brother, Ben Gray Christopher and wife Elaine of Brandon, FL; ten 
grandchildren, Daniel Spears, Katie Spears, Rebekah Spears Johnson, Will 
Christopher , Sherri Christopher, Ben Christopher, Amy Cox Archuleta, Chris Cox, 
Bryan Gibson and Caleb Gibson; nine great-grandchildren, Nate Johnson, Andrew 
Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Grayson Christopher, McKenzie Christopher, Ellison 
Christopher, Corey Christopher, Aiden Archuleta and Gavin Gibson. The family 
received friends from 5  7 p.m. Sunday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
 Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
