McDANIEL, JOSEPH: 1802, v. 1, p. 190 I Joseph McDaniel of 
Providence Twp. My well-beloved wife Ann one riding horse 
and saddle. . . My eldest son Amos, one bay mare. . . My six 
children:  Amos, Joel, Peter, Ruben, Mary and Susanner But 
in case my son Joel refuses to return home and help to till 
the land, and help to support and maintain his mother during 
her widowhood. To eldest son Amos, 150 acres of land, 
adjoining the lands of his brother Peter To son Peter, 110 
acres of land, adjoining land of Uriah Hughes To youngest 
son Ruben, 100 acres of land adjoining land I gave Amos To 
my two daughters Mary and Susanner, 25 acres of pattend 
land, right joining the East end of Esquire Riddles land 
appoints wife and son Amos executors. signed 1 August 1802
witnesses: William Cornell, George Hivner, Joh. Shaver Junior
9 Aug 1802, letters testamentary were granted to Ann McDaniel and Amos McDaniel,
executors of Joseph McDaniel, deceased.
