AVOCA. - Walter Woolever Dead

  A resident of Avoca for 31yrs, died last evening in his 53 year, following a 
long illness.  He was born in Phillipsburg, N.J., coming while a young man to 
Avoca where he since resided.  He was a member of Gahonto Lodge, I.O.O.F., of 
Pittston.
    Surviving are his widow and two children: Charles at home, and Mrs. C. F. 
Tishler of Avoca; also by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Joseph 
Grimeson, Miss Lella Woolever, of Newark, N.J., Mrs. Ray Galley [DALLEY], 
Hackettstown, N.J., Mrs. Bertha Handler, same place; George Woolever, Scranton; 
William Woolever, New York City; Lester Woolever, Newark, N.J.
  The funeral services will be held at 8:30 o'clock tomorrow evening at the 
family home 221 Packer Street, West Avoca, with Rev. A. D. Behrends, pastor of 
the Presbyterian Church in charge.  Burial will take place Thursday morning at 
eight o'clock in the Hackettstown cemetery.
