Times Leader Evening News W-B Feb 10, 1949
   Bernard A Klein, Vice President and General Superintendent of the B.G. Coon 
Construction Company, Luzerne, passed away at 10:15 yesterday morning at his 
home, 56 So WEelles Ave, Kingston.
Mr Klein, who was 51, had been in failing health for two years.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, the son of the late George Klein, he was graduated from 
Coughlin High School.  He then served in the Navy during World War I, being 
stationed on the  battleship Arizona.
After being released from the Navy, Mr. Klein entered Pennsylvania State College 
from which he graduated in 1923 as a civil engineer.
Besides his wife, the fromer Myrtle Case of Wilkes-Barre, he is leaves 12 
children: Mrs. Richard Pries, Caldwell, NJ; Mrs. James Swank, Washington, DC; 
Barbara Jane, Ann, Patricia, Vera, Bernard; Sally, Anthony, Sandra, Peter, and 
Frank, all at home.
