GORED TO DEATH BY A BULL

Wilkes-Barre, Jan. 7 - Henry Gibbons, an old man and respected citizen of
Mill Creek, met with a horrible death this afternoon. He went into the
stable for the purpose of unloosing a bull, which he desired to water in the
yard. The bull was very docile when Mr. Gibbons entered the stable and made
no movement until the chain was detached from the feed trough. Then he
turned on his owner and, after knocking him down, gored him to death. Mr.
Gibbons cried for help, but his cries were not heard until it was too late.
