EDWARD BROWN farmer and stock raiser, P.O. Fallsington, son 
of Joseph and Phebe (Stackhouse) Brown, was born in 
Fallsington, March 17, 1855.  His ancestors were among the 
early settlers.  He is a descendant of  General Brown, of 
revolutionary fame.  His father was a farmer and is living a 
retired life in Fallsington.  Edward attended school at 
Fallsington and college at Trenton, N. J., two years.  In 
1880 he was married in Penn's Manor to Ida A., daughter of 
John H. and Elizabeth (Headley) Wright, both natives of this 
county and of English descent.  They have one child, Harry 
J.  In politics Mr. Brown is a republican.
