  MRS ALEX GLEEN DIES UNEXPECTEDLY
  
  Mrs. Clara Glenn, 78, widow of the late Alex Glenn, died at 3:45 o'clock 
  yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Clingan, 720 S 
  street. Although she had been in failing health several years, her death was 
  unexpected and was a shock to relatives and friends. She became critically ill 
  Thursday.
  Mrs. Glenn had lived in the residence in which her death occurred for 46 
  years, and all he children were born there. She was born near Apollo, 
  Armstrong county, PA. February 18, 1855, and was married in that state in 
  1885. Immediately after their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Glenn came to Atchison, 
  where both spent the remainder of their lives. Mr. Glenn died August 1, 1930.
  Surviving are a son, Charles Glenn of Alton, Kas., and two daughters, Mrs. 
  Marion Clingan, wife of John Clingan, 720 S street, and Mrs. Ruth Conlon, wife 
  of James Conlon 425 R street. The eldest daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Lowell, died 
  at her home in Kansas City in 1922. Seven grandchildren also survive.
  Mrs. Glenn had been a member of the Presbyterian church since she was 17 years 
  of age. Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon at 2:30 
  o'clock at the residence and the Rev. C.K. Davis will officiate. The body was 
  removed from Swain & Douglas (sic) undertaking parlors to the residence this 
  afternoon. Pallbearers will be Fred Donovan, Harry Marten7y, Carl Harman, Dr. 
  J.H. Lloyd, Al Jacobs, and Matt Walters.

  Funeral services fro Mrs. Clara Glenn, widow of the late Alex Glenn, were 
  largely attended yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John 
  Clingan, 720 S street. The Rev. C.K. Davis, pastor of the Presbyterian church 
  officiate, and burial was at Mr. Vernon Cemetery. Mrs. Glenn was 78 years of 
  age and had been a member of the Presbyterian church fo 61 years. Among the 
  survivors of Mrs. Glenn are a sister Sarah McClure, Greenfield, Mass. and a 
  brother, William Kirkland, Folsom, PA
