  Valley News Dispatch, Tarentum, Pa., Nov. 4, 1966
   D.L. BRUNER -- D. Lawrence Bruner, 88, of 715 Armstrong Ave., Apollo, 
  formerly of Leechburg, died in his home at 9:30 a.m. yesterday (Nov. 3, 1966). 
  Mr. Bruner was retired in 1948 by the old Apollo Steel Co.  His wife, Mrs. 
  Emiley Jane Beatty Bruner, died on June 16, 1964.   He lived the last 20 years 
  in Apollo.   Born March 28, 1878, in Bethel Township, he was a son of James 
  and Lucy Smail Bruner.  He was a member of Hebron Lutheran Church, Leechburg.  
  Mr. Bruner leaves two brothers: Roy J. and Harvey W. Sr., both of Apollo.  
  Friends will be received in the N. Lee Roy King Funeral Home, 310 S. 2nd St., 
  Apollo, from 7 to 9 p.m. today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and from 10 
  a.m. until the service at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, with the Rev. George Vetter in 
  charge. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Bethel Township.
