   DORCAS M. BEATTY, Washington Township
  Dorcas M. Wolford Beatty, 84, of 713 Grange Drive,  Washington Township, died 
  yesterday (March 17, 1988) at 1 p.m. in  Wesley Nursing Center, Braeburn, 
  Lower Burrell.  She was born Oct. 7, 1903, in Bell.  Mrs. Beatty had taught in 
  Kiski Area School District for 43 years.
       She was a member of Salina Reformed Church, Retired Teachers Association 
  and Bell Township Grange.
  Survivors include a stepson, Charles Beatty of Washington Township; a 
  stepdaughter, Mrs. LaWave Barber of Slippery Rock; three step-grandchildren; 
  and a sister, Mrs. Florence V. Griffith of Washington Township.  Her husband, 
  Ellis Beatty, died in 1954.
  Friends may call in the Shaffer & Rae Funeral Home, 310 S. Second St., Apollo, 
  tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 1: 30 p.m. 
  when a service will be conducted by her pastor, the Rev. John Collins.  Burial 
  will be in Riverview Cemetery, Kiskiminetas Township.
