DUDDERAR KIDD
Miss Rosella, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Kidd, of Urbana, and Mr. Charles
Thomas Dudderar, a promising young carpenter of the same place, were married at
the Urbana M. E. Church at 1.30 p. m., January 4. Rev. Robert Barnes, of
Solomon's Island, brother-in-law of the groom, officiating.
The wedding march was rendered by Mrs. Barnes. Mr. Claude Kidd and Mr.
George Dudderar, brothers of the bride and groom, acted as ushers. The bride
was becomingly attired in brown cloth, with hat and gloves to match, and
carried a bouquet of La France roses tied with ribbon. The ends of the ribbons
were tied with carnation plaks[?]. The groom wore the conventional black. The
bride received a large number of useful presents. The church was beautifully
decorated by the young friends of the bride and groom. The newly wedded couple
left for a trip to Washington. When they return they will reside in Urbana.
