6-19-1917 Indiana Evening Gazette

The marriage of Miss Edna Maude Barrett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Barrett

of Fransisco street and Mr. Wilmer Hughes Beatty, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. D. 

Beatty

of Allendale street, Sheradon, took place on Monday evening, June 11, in the 

family 

residence. The service was read by Rev. Kinley McWilliam pastor of the 

Presbyterian

church of Sheridan.

The bride was attended by her sister Miss Margaret Barrett as maid of honor. 

The bride's

gown was of Georgette crepe and she carried an armfull of La France roses and 

asparagus

iris. Ferns and American beauty roses were used in the decorations. The guests 

included

the only relatives of the contracting parties and a few close friends. The out 

of town guests 

were Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Heron of Warren Ohio, Mrs. H. W. Jones and Mr. Stuart 

Jones

of Cleveland Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Hughes of Harrisburg, Pa., and Miss 

Mildred Beatty

of Butler, Pa., The bride received many beautiful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Beatty 

left on the midnight

train for an eastern trip and will be at home in Harrisburg, Pa. after July 1.
