Stella (ROSE) BURKETT

Bedford, Pa., April 5 - Mrs. Stella ROSE BURKETT, wife of 
Norman BURKETT, died at her home in Mann's Choice Monday 
morning at 4 o'clock, of blood poison, aged 23 years, after 
an illness of two weeks. She was the daughter of Ross E. and 
Mary (HEMING) ROSE, of this place, and was united in 
marriage to Norman Burkett on May 4, 1915. She leaves to 
mourn her loss her husband and parents, and the following 
brothers and sisters: Harvey, of Johnstown; Ethel, 
Katherine, Lester, Myers, Ellis and Pearl, all at home.

Mrs. Stella BURKETT, died at 4 o'clock Monday morning, April 
3, 1916, at her home near Mann's Choice, following an 
illness of two weeks. She was the daughter of Ross E. and 
Mary ROSE (nee HEMING) of Cumberland Valley, aged 23 years 
and 26 days. On May 4, 1915, she was united in marriage to 
Norman BURKETT. Besides her husband and parents she is 
survived by the following brothers and sisters: Harvey of 
Akron, Ohio, Ethel, Katherine, Lester, Myra, Ellis and Pearl 
all at home. She was admired by all who knew her, having 
lived the life of the highest type of Christian womanhood. 
Funeral services were held in St. Thomas' Catholic Church at 
Bedford, Wednesday morning, conducted by Rev. Father W.E. 
Downs. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery west of 
Bedford.
