LOCAL ITEMS IN BRIEF.

  Mrs. Margaret Diehl, aged 77 years, committed suicide at the 
residence of her son-in-law, in Everett, Bedford county, by hanging 
herself yesterday morning.  Sickness led her to the rash deed.
