C. I. DETWILER.

  C. I. Detwiler, hardware merchant at Woodbury, Bedford county, died at 
Johns Hopkins hospital, Baltimore, on Friday afternoon at 4:45 o'clock.  
He underwent an operation on July 5 and complications set in and caused 
his death.  He was aged 41 years and was one of the most prominent and 
successful young business men of Bedford county.  He is survived by his 
wife, his mother and the following brothers and sisters: A. A. Detwiler 
and Mrs. Alice Watkins, of Waynesboro; Harry Detwiler, of Woodbury; Homer 
Detwiler and Mrs. J. B. Sprucebank, of Jeanette; W. F. Detwiler, of 
Tarentum; D. R. Detwiler, of Kansas City.  The funeral will take place 
from his late home this morning at 10 o'clock.  Interment in Dry Hill 
cemetery.
