J. ELMER BEEGLE

Special to the Tribune.
  Bedford, September 6. - After a short illness J. Elmer Beegle, son of 
Philip Beegle, of Bedford township, died at his home in Pleasant valley, aged 
about 53 years.  Since early childhood deceased was a deaf mute, the 
affliction resulting from an attack of scarlet fever.  His mother, who was 
Miss Maria Ernest, died about four years ago.  Surviving are his father and 
the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. William Zitch, at home; Mrs. George 
W. Dibert and Mrs. H. C. Diehl, of Bedford township; Mrs. Reuben Cook, of 
Johnstown; Fred Beegle, of Pittsburg.  The funeral will be held at the 
Pleasant Valley Lutheran church at 10 o'clock Sunday morning, Rev. A. R. 
Miller officiating.  Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
