 Royden Campbell

 Royden P. "Whitey" Campbell,
76, Indiana, died Friday, Dec. 12,
1997, at Allegheny General Hospital.
 The son of Emery E. and MaMe
Peddicord Campbell, he was born
May 1, 1921, in Indiana.
 Mr. Campbell lived all of his life in
Indiana County where he was a
member of Calvary Presbyterian
Church. He was a graduate of Indi-
ana High School and a veteran of the
U.S. Navy during World War II.
Prior to his retirement, he had been
employed in the construction indus-
try for over 40 years.
 He was a member of the IUP
Athletic Booster Club, the IOOF and
the VFW of Indiana.
 Surviving are his wife, Doris D.
Hutchinson Campbell, to whom he
was married for over 53 years; four
sons: Emery E. and his wife, Kathy,
Indiana; Robert J. and his wife,
Barbara, Homer City; Kenneth P.
and his wife, Dory, Indiana, and
Donald L. and his wife, Mary,
Ernest; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph
(Virginia) Setlock, Indiana; one
brother, Glenn Campbell, Indiana;
one sister, Marie Nibert, Somerset;
12 grandchildren; 2 step grandchil-
dren; three great grandchildren and
two step great grandchildren.
 He was preceded in death by his
parents and one sister, Sara Davis.
 Friends will be received from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Robinson-
Lytle's, Indiana, where services will
be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the
Rev. James D. Patten officiating.
Interment will follow in Oakland
Cemetery. Military rites will be
accorded by VFW Post 1989 at the
funeral home. .
