The body of Stephen Brown, of Indiana county, was found in the
Conemaugh river at New Florence Sunday morning. It was evident that he
had jumped from the bridge, a distance of 30 feet and the body was
terribly bruised. Brown suffered from insomnia and it is thought he
was temporarily insane. Two sons and two daughters survive. He lived
near Centerville.
