    Robert Brida

 Robert E. Brida, 69, Graceton,
died Monday, Jan. 5, 1998, at home.
 The son of Louis and Mary Ander-
son Brida, he was born Feb. 11, 1928,
in Palmertown.
 Mr. Brida was a member of St.
Francis Church, Coral, the Grace-
ton-Coral Sportsmen's Club, the Red
Barn Sportsmen's Club and Club
Savoy, Homer City.
 In 1991, he retired from the state
Department of Transportation after
many years of service.
 Survivors include his wife, Eliza-
beth Smith Brida, Graceton; one
brother, James Brida and his wife,
Jo Ann, Blairsville; three sisters:
Isabelle Bassett Cleveland, Ohio;
Margaret Tedeski and her husband,
John, Homer City; and Garnet Bri-
da, Homer City; many nieces and
nephews.
 He was preceded in death by his
parents; five brothers: John, Louis,
Henry, Clarence and William Brida;
three sisters: Estella Dallas.; Del-
phinne Petraca and Henrietta Dal-
las
 Friends will be received Wednes-
day from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the C.
Frederick Bowser Funeral Home,
Homer City, where a Parish Rosary
will be recited at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
A prayer service will be offered
Thursday at 9 a.m., followed by a
Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at the St.
Francis Roman Catholic Church,
Coral. The Rev. Fr. Elmer Kacinka
will be celebrant. Interment will be
made in the church cemetery.
