     Dale Breth

 Dale M. Breth, 79, of Mahaffey RD
2, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 1997, at
Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.
 The son of Harvey Bruce and
Mayme Filler Breth, he was born
March 6, 1918, in PunxsutBwney.
 Mr. Breth was a coal miner with
Benjamin Coal Co., for many years.
 He was a World War II U.S. Army
veteran serving withmpany A,
692nd Tank Destroyer Battalion.
 He was a member of the Christian
Missionary Alliance Church, Mahaf-
fey, and~the Mahaffey VFW Post
8109.
 Survivinr! are his wife, the former
Luella A. SYhadle, whom he married
on Sept. 8, 1945; a son, Larry D.
Breth, the husband of Nancy Fye,
Home; two daughters, Mrs. John
(LuAnne) Baker, Commodore; and
Mrs. Leonard (Darla) Gardner,
Glen Campbell; two brothers,
Duane and Bruce, both of Punxsu-
tawney; two sisters, Florence
McGee, Punxsutawney; and Louise
Styles, Jamestown; four grandchil-
dren: Tracy Miller, Michelle Breth,
Kristin Gardner and Brad Gardner;
a great-granddaughter, Katie M~1-
er; and several nieces and nephews.
 He was preceded in death by his
parents; three brothers: Guy Wehry
and Warren and Lloyd Breth; and a
 sister, Marine Pany.
 Friends will be received from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the T.G.
McCracken Funeral Home, Mahaf-
fey, and Saturday from 1-2 p.m., the
time of services, at the Mahaffey
Christian Missionary Alliance
Church. Reverends Mitchell Jason,
Albert Cooper and Tim McGarvey
will officiate. Interment will be in
the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Burnside.
