William J. Beatty died at his home in Indiana on Wednesday, Aug. 4, following
an
illness of almost a year.

He was aged 60 years, and is survived by his widow, and the following sons
and
daughters, Charles N. of Elderton, Mrs. J.B. George, Samuel H. and William
C. of
Vandergrift, Addison of Indiana, and Neal and Dollie at home. Funeral services
were
conducted Friday afternoon and interment made in Elderton Cemetery.

of William Beatty, died at the home of her son, William C. Beatty , Vandergrift,
Friday .
January 13 , 1956, at 12:15 A.M. She was born October 8, 1858 in Indiana
County , a
daughter of William and Margaret Silvis Ramsey.

She is survived by two sons, Samuel Uncapher, Star Run, Apollo: William
C.
Beatty, mentioned above; one step son, Addison Beatty, Indiana, 10 grand
childrem, eight
step grandchildren, 10 great grand children, one brother, John Ramsey,
Valley Falls ,
Kansas.

Mrs. Beatty lived in Indiana until seven years ago, and was a member of
the
United Presbyterian Church, Indiana.

Friends will be received at the Clarks Funeral Home, Elderton, after the
noon hour,
Saturday. January 14, where services will be held on Monday,January 16,
at 2:00 P.M.
The Rev. Paul Beatty will officiate. Burial will be made in Elderton Cemetery.
