Paul E. Beatty, 68, of New Orleans, La., died Saturday, Sept. 15, 1967
Born in Pittsburgh on August 16, 1899, he was the son ofWilliam D. and
Catherine Duffy Beatty

He was a member of the Master Mates and Pilots Union, a Seaman, First
Mate in the Maritime Service (ret ). a veteran of World Wars I and II,
the Shrine
Blue Lodge, the Grotto, VFW, and the Eagles.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vivian Butler Beatty, Chicago, Ill., two sisters,
Mrs. Charles B. ( Allice ) Cummings, State College, Mrs. Harry (Dorothy
)
Parson, Philadelphia, a brother, John, Pittsburgh.

Friends will be received at the Ferguson and Son Funeral Home,
Blairsville on Sunday from 7=10 PM , where services will be held Monday
at
1:30 PM. Interment will follow in the Blairsville Cemetery
