    Clayton Beatty


  Clayton S. Beatty 75, Marion
 Center RD 1, died Sat;rday, Dec. 29,
 1997, at the Conemaugh Hospital,
 Johnstown, as a result of injuries he
 suffered in an automobile accident.
 A son of H. Carl and Alma Pearce
 Beatty, he was born Nov. 14, 1922, in
 East Mahoning Township, Indiana
 County.
  Mr. Beatty was a member of the
 Marion Center Memorial Cemetery
 Board and the Marion Center Young
 Farmers.
  He was self-employed as a farmer
 raising beef and grain. He was also
 well known in the area as a provider
 of custom corn shelling and grain
 drying.
  Surviving are one sister and one
 brother, Earl Beatty and his wife,
 Fannie, Fairmont City; Leda Blose
 and her husband, Max, Marion Cen-
 ter RD 2; three nephews: Lewis
 Beatty, Mayport; Carl Blose, Home,
 and Alan Blose, Rochester Mills;
 three grandnieces and three grand-
 nephews.
  He was preceded in death by his
 harents.

 Friends will be received from 7-9
p.m. Monday and from 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. Tuesday at the Bowser Minich
Funeral Home, Indiana, where fu-
neral services will be held Wednes-
day at 11 a.m. with the Rev. R.
Bruce Shannon officiating. Inter-
ment will be in the Marion Center
Memorial Cemetery.
