   Clement Bartos

 Clement V. Bartos, 67, Blairsville
RD 1 (Burrell Township), died Fri-
day, Dec. 19, 1997, in Burrell Town-
ship, as a result of an automobile
accident.
 The son of Stephen and Mary
Krescanko Bartos, he was born Sept.
23, 1930, in Braddock.
 Mr. Bartos was a member of SS.
Simon & Jude Roman Catholic
Church, Blairsville, where he served
as an usher. He graduated in 1948
from Scott High School, North Brad-
dock, and from Illinois Benedictine
College in 1952. He was a member of
the CDC organization in Burrell
Township, in which he currently
served as treasurer. He served on
the Blairsville-Saltsburg School
Board from 1994-95. He was a U.S.
Army veteran.
 Prior to his retirement in 1990, he
was employed since 1955 as a chemi-
cal analyst at Westinghouse, Blairs-
ville.
 Surviving are his wife, JoAnne
Bossert Bartos; his mother, White-
hall; three sons and two daughters:
Stephen and wife, Donna, Philadel-
phia; David and wife, Mary, Dallas,
Pa.; Capt. Charles, Fort Hood, Tex-
as; Gretchen Bartos, Hershey; and
Mrs. Susan Boyet and husband,
Glenn, Pittsburgh; two grandsons,
Chuck Bruccaleri and David Bar-
tos; and one sister, Dr. Sylvia
Mulvihill and husband, Craig,
Whitehall.
 He was preceded in death by his
father.
 Friends will be received from 7-9
p.m. today and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Sunday at the Richard L. Shoemak-
er Funeral Home, Blairsville, where
a wake service will be held at 8:30
p.m. Sunday. A funeral Mass will be
celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at SS.
Simon & Jude Church with the Rev.
Father Chester J. Raimer as cele-
brant. Interment will be made in
Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Brad-
dock Hills.
