                                   Mrs. Alexander  Balentine 
  
  Nancy J. Balentine wife of Alexander Balentine of West Church St died at her
  home on the Sabbath evening age 67 3 months. 
  
  The deceased has been ill heath for many weeks but so far recovered to attend
  her household duties. But last Friday she suffer a stoke of paralysis resulted
  fatally.
  
  Mrs. Balentine's maiden name was Beatty, and on October 13, 1851 was married
  to Alexander Balentine.
  
  Her husband and the following children survive her, Mrs. Wm Deter and Mrs.
  Lincoln Ross of Blairsville Alonzo, Arvilla, Cora, Stella and Howard at home,
  Willam of Alleghany.
  
  The deceased was a loving mother and affectionate wife and leaves a large
  circle of friends for many years she was a devoted Christian and a loyal
  member of the first Presbyterian Church were she was a consent worshipper.
  
  Funeral service was conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at her late home by her
  pastor Dr. J.D. Brownlee.
