Patrick Gallagher Jr.
Former City Resident
  Patrick Gallagher Jr., 61, a resident of Chester until 25 years ago, died 
unexpectedly Sunday at his Woodbridge, N. J., home.
  A native of Ireland, Mr. Gallagher came to Chester as a young boy.  He was 
employed by Pennsylvania Railroad for 30 years as an assistant track foreman.  
He served in the Army during World War I.
  He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Boyle; four sisters, Sister 
Agnes Theresa, IHM, Pottsville; Mrs. Michael Gavin and Mrs. Helen Shaw of 
Chester, and Margaret of Philadelphia; and a brother Timothy, of Philadelphia.
  The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the E. F. White Funeral Home, 3rd 
and Norris.  Solemn requiem mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. at the Catholic 
Church of the Resurrection, 10th and Highland.  Burial will be in Immaculate 
Heart Cemetery.

  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Friday morning at 9 
o'clock from the E. F. White Funeral Home, Thomas E. Rairdon, successor 3rd 
and Norris Sts., Chester.  solemn Mass of Requiem Resurrection Church at 10 
o'clock.  Friends may call Thursday evening.  Interment Immaculate Heart 
Cemetery.
