                                   OLIVER F. BAKER
                                   Killed in Saipan
 
          A military service for OLIVER FORREST BAKER, pharmacist
      mate third class, USN, who was killed on Saipan, June 15, 1944,
      will be held Tuesday in Media Cemetery at 4 p. m.
 
          The youth, son of SAMUEL E. and JENNY POWELL BAKER,
      419 North Orange Street, was 20 at the time of death. He was a
      senior in Media High School when he enlisted in the spring of 1942.
      He was on detached duty, serving with the Fourth Marine Division
      in the Saipan engagement.
 
          The casket will arrive at the Rigby Funeral Parlors, Media, on
      Monday and from there will be taken to the cemetery on Tuesday.
      Members of the SMITH-HOWARD POST 93, AMERICAN LEGION,
      will take part in the services. Rev. WILLIAM J. ALBERTS, rector of
      Christ Church will officiate.
 
          In addition to the parents, survivors include two sisters, SARAH A.
      and RACHEL, and three brothers, SAMUEL E., Jr., ROBERT E., 
      and THEODORE F. BAKER, all at home. Two brothers also had 
      served during the war, SAMUEL in the ARMY in India and China, 
      and ROBERT with the NAVY in the Pacific.
