Civil War Veteran Is Dead At Centerville - Ezra Geho, Aged 82 Years Answers
Final Rollcall - Saw Service With Two Cavalry Companies in Rebellion -
Centerville, Feb. 2 - Ezra Geho, aged 82 years, a Civil war veteran died
this morning at his home in Centerville borough, near Westland. He was born
July 22, 1844 in Fayette county and lived practically all his life in the
Centerville district.    Mr. Geho served as a private in Comp-any E of the
6th Regiment, Pennsylvania Cavalry and a private
in the 2nd Regiment, Pennsylvania Provisional Cavalry. He was the last
charter member of the Cedar lodge of the I.O.O.F.   He is survived by his
nephew, William H. Hagerty, of Monongahela. His only brother, John Geho,
died last year. The I.O.O.F. will hold services at his late home at 7:30
Wednesday night. The regular funeral services will be held at his late home
at 2 o'clock Thursday. Interment will be in the Westland Cemetery,(near
Centerville, Washington County.)
