Family Records
Mrs. Jane Moore Caldwell, aged 80 years, widow of William Caldwell, died at the
home of her daughter Mrs. John Y. Dinsmore, this place, Saturday night at 8:15
o'clock.  Her death was caused by cancer.

She was a daughter of William and Mary Margaret Lyle Moore and was born August
1, 1841.  She was married April 15, 1858 to William Caldwell who died June 9,
1902. Mrs. Caldwell was a lifelong member of the Mt. Prospect Presbyterian
church and active in all the affairs of the congregation.  She was a woman who
was highly esteemed in the community for her sterling traits of character and
her many acts of kindness.

Of her 13 children, ten survive as follows: Mrs. C.C. Robinson, Mrs. Lee
Davidson, Mrs. Alice Marquis, Mrs. John Y. Dinsmore, W.O., James, Smiley,
Milton, Edwin and Samuel Caldwell.  Twenty grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren, two brothers and one sister also survive; Samuel and Joseph
Moore of Burgettstown and Mrs. Elizabeth Bell of Tippecanoe, O.

Funeral services, conducted by her pastor, Rev. A.F. Alexander, will be held at
the Dinsmore home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  The internment will be at the
Mt. Prospect cemetery.
