Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania)
Paul Bossart, nonagenarian and life long resident of Unity township, died at 6
o'clock on Wednesday morning, Feb. 20, 1918, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. S.
Strickler of near Bradenville. Mr. Bossart was 90 years, 3 months and 27
days old and had been in failing health months before his death. Mr. Bossart was
born in Unity township and spent practically his whole life in the vicinity of
Youngstown. He was a bricklayer by trade. Mrs. Bossart died May 30, 1916. Mr.
Bossart is survived by the following children: Mrs. J. S. Strickler, of Derry
township; Mrs. C. F. Shirey, of Unity township; William A. Bossart, of Youngstown;
Mrs. J. S. Ross, of Unity township; Rev. F. P. Bossart, of Cleveland, Ohio; Harry S.
Bossart, of Buckley, Ill.; Mrs. J. B. Smith of Monessen; Mrs. A. J. Kells, of
Youngstown; Herbert Bossart, of Latrobe; and Samuel P. Bossart, of Erie. He was an
uncle of C. E. Bossart of Ligonier. Funeral services were held in the Youngstown
Lutheran church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
