This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a photo album by
its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no
corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page.


DALLY, PHILLIP LeROY - Age 84 years of 256 Braddock Ave., Uniontown, died,
Tuesday, May 25, 1976. He was born July 2, 1891 the son of the late, Charles Andrew
and Josephine Clorissa Means Dally. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Belle
Franks Dally. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Mary Clorissa) Sessler Jr. of
Uniontown; a son, Dr. Jesse L. Dally of Midland, Texas; a brother, William K. Dally of
Bethel Park; four sisters, Mrs. Larry (Virginia) Liggett of Bethel Park, Mrs. Robert
(Elizabeth) Pickens of Lehigh Acres, Miss Mary B. Dally of Bethel Park and Mrs. Harry
(Harriet) Filson of Pleasantville, Pa.; three grandchildren, Amy Sessler, David and
Suzanne Dally. Predeceased by the following brothers and sisters: Virgilla Dally, Lillian
Isler Dally, Charles Addison, Drusilla Day, Benton Holliday, Wendell Phillips, John
Means, Charlotte Elizabeth Parry. He was a veteran of World War I and was a retired
gas field leaser for the Benedum Treef Oil Co. of Pittburgh. Friends will be received in
the Dearth Funeral Home, New Salem, on Friday and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:30
p.m. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later.
