This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a photo album by
its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no
corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page.


CZINKI, JOSEPH W. - Age 64 years, of E. Green St. ,Waynesburg, died suddenly
Saturday, January 25, 1969 at 2 p.m. of a heart attack. The son of the late Charles and
Ola Czinki, he was born in Brownsville February 1, 1905. Surviving are his wife, Lenore
Hackney Czinki; three brothers, Alexander and James, both of Detroit, Mich., and Charles
of Sutland, Md.; and a. sister, Mrs. Thomas Kurtz of Tampa, Fla. He was a member of the
First Presbyterian Church of Waynesburg, the Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce,
he was a Master Mason and Shriner, and was the director of the Greene County Industrial
Development. A graduate of Brownsville High School, he attended Penn State and Duquesne
Universities. He was in the merchandising field for thirtyseven years, and for the past five
years, was the owner and operator of the Love Home Equipment Company of Waynesburg.
Friends are being received in the Garrison Funeral Home, Waynesburg today from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m., where services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday with Dr. Victor Carlson
officiating. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown.
