This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a photo album by
its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no
corrections to its spelling or punctuation.


CRUSE, ALVERDA-Age 86 years,
died early Wednesday morning,
January 6, 1965 in the Weimer
Nursing Home. She was born
October 31, 1878 the daughter of
the late George I. and Anna Care
Cruse. She was a retired school
teacher and a member of the
Third Presbyterian Church and
Class 13 of the church. She is sur-
vived by two nieces, Mrs. Harriett
Cruse McCombs, Mrs. Ruth Cruse
Silbaugh; two nephews, George S.
Cruse and Philip G. Cruse, all
of Uniontown. The family will re-
ceive friends in the Andrew D.
Ferguson Funeral Rome, 80 Mor-
gantown St.. today from 2 to
5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday
until 2 p.m. the hour of service
with Rev. William G. Silbert, Jr.
her pastor, officiating. Interment
In Jacobs Lutheran cemetery.
