This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a photo album by
its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no
corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page.

COLDREN, ELEANOR LINCOLN  Age 75 years of 107 Spruce Way, Uniontown, died
Friday, March 28, 1975 at 5 p.m. in the Miami Heart Institute, Miami, Florida. She was born
September 30, 1899 in Connellsville and was the daughter of the late Leroy Sherman and
Ellen McClernan Lincoln. She was a member of the Third United Presbyterian Church,
Women's Bible Class, President elect of Albert Gallatin Chapter Daughters of 1812,
Chief Tanacharison Daughters of American Colonists, Uniontown Travel Club, the
head of Volunteer Services for the Fayette County Chapter of the Red Cross, an Honorary
member of the Red Cross Board, and one of the organizers of the Gray Ladies. She was a
member of and historian of the Col. Andrew Lynn Chapter DAR, a member of the
Home Economics Club and former BPW woman of the year. Surviving are her husband,
Atty. I. Burdette Coldren; two sons, Ira B. Coldren Jr., Uniontown, and Clarke L. Coldren,
Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Raatz,
Byron, Minnesota. The family will receive friends in the Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home,
80 Morgantown St., today 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday noon to 2 p.m., the hour of
service, with Rev. John A. Buckley officiating. Interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery. In lieu
of flowers contributions may be made to the Fayette County Chapter of the American
Red Cross. Col. Andrew Lynn Chapter DAR will hold services this evening at 7.
